Movie La red avis aux expertes.
A drama based on fact.
It is about a network that helps Cubans leave the island in the 80s and 90s from the United States.
At times confusing.
The narrative at times is puzzling since the story can go slow at times and at others it sells a voiceover and quickly advances the sequence.
Well done special effects.
The extraordinarily recreated era.
Edgar Ramírez and Penélope Cruz make a good dumbbell.
I had a great time watching this movie. It is always good to hear the other side of political stories. Yes, there’s always another side. So, the movie is entertaining for sure. Every bad (one star) review here is simply politically biased. It is just people that can’t stand Cuba’s point of view. My advise is that you should watch and judge it by yourself. It’s not supposed to be a documentary, but it is an incredible story based on real facts and real people. Have fun.
Movie La red avishai.
I am not sure why anyone would rate this movie anything lower than a seven. It is excellent, entertaining, with decent acting and historically -reasonably accurate. You may disagree with the point of view that it brings because it’s very different from the typical American vantage point for this topic, but it makes you think. Not everything is as painted by the stories we heard.
This movie is disrespectful with “real” historical facts.
A cheap attempt to rewrite history in people’s minds making the most terrible villains to look like the greatest heroes.
It is insulting just to think of the possibility of comparing a movie like this to art. The only art in there is the art of deception, because this is just a very ordinary political bias militancy being recorded on camera with some acting to deceive people…
Some of the actors are pretty good by the way. Nothing against them.
